I'm learning to enjoy the other songs on this cd, but not to the same degree. The Magic Lanterns are an English band that I missed their first time around, but the tight harmonies, and excellent production make me glad I know them now. It's not yet my favorite cd, but it does have a favorite song in "Shame, Shame".4/5(21).

Review is for VINYL 2 LP version of Queen's Greatest hits. I purchased this Queen double LP on 2/15/ for $ We have all heard it hundreds of times, so I will tell you about the vinyl, not the music. Excellent pressing. Superb clarity throughout. No click, pops or low points in the audio reproduction noted whatsoever on the heavyweight /5(K).

Jan 12,  · Simply the best album and new band of Completely blew me away when I heard the album, even more so when I've seen them live. Shame (ahem) the recording quality on this album isn't the greatest, but the scooped mids and compression simply amplifies their gritty, shamelessly (ahem again) careless sound.

The song "Shame" was released as part of King's album Smooth Talk and lasts four minutes and thirty-eight seconds. The album version opens with a saxophone note by Sam Peake and is "more concise." Scotty Miller played the drums, and Instant Funk member Raymond Earl played the bass. Al Garrison and David Todd produced the extended remix for the twelve-inch vinyl single, which lasts .
